The County and the City of Rochester have designated RochesterWorks! as its one-stop provider for businesses, job seekers and youth. RochesterWorks! is a 501©(3) not-for-profit which oversees the usage of the grant funds authorized to Monroe County under the Workforce Investment Act, Trade Adjustment Act and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families.

Monroe County partners with several public and private partners to ensure that all businesses and companies have the best of the best with it comes to the local workforce. Monroe County and the City of Rochester designate RochesterWorks! to administer a majority of the region’s workforce development programs and services. Most services offered are free of charge and make it easier for local businesses to develop a more skilled and higher educated workforce.
Connecting with Youth and the Community
Monroe County is home to some of the best school districts, colleges and universities in the nation. Moroe County partners with our local schools, community groups and RochesterWorks! for Youth to support programs that serve youth between the ages of 14 and 21 with job readiness initiatives. In addition to RochesterWorks! for Youth, the County partners with several other partners, including:
