Monroe County Executive Adam Bello today announced the Movies in the Park screening of “Encanto,” originally planned for July 15 has been rescheduled to Friday, Sept. 2.
Downtown Definitely is hosting a free screening of “Encanto” as part of the Movies with a Downtown View series at 6 p.m. July 15 at MLK park in Rochester. The county rescheduled its screening of the film in order to give more families the opportunity to enjoy “Encanto” this summer.
Monroe County’s Movies in the Park is a series of free family movie screenings that runs through Sept. 2 at various county parks. All movies begin at dusk. Screening dates are as follows:
- Saturday, July 9, Angels in the Outfield, Frontier Field
* Friday, July 15, Encanto, Highland Park- Friday, July 22, Field of Dreams, Frontier Field
- Friday, July 29, Luca, Webster Park
- Friday, August 5, The Mitchells vs. the Machines, Greece Canal Park
- Friday, August 19, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ontario Beach Park
