The National Weather Service issues high wind/gale warning with potential for downed trees and power outages.
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello today urged residents to prepare for potentially damaging winds and gales exceeding 65 miles per hour for late morning and into early evening.
The National Weather Service (NWS) advises the wind may topple numerous trees and cause possible widespread power outages.
The Monroe County Office of Emergency Management is monitoring the situation and stands ready to assist residents.
