Monroe County Executive Adam Bello today announced that the county’s distribution plan for New York State supplied KN95 masks will concentrate on essential workers and first responders. Monroe County received about 330,000 high-grade KN95 masks from New York State to distribute as necessary.
“The KN95 masks will help protect our first responders and essential employees — and in-turn, our residents,” said Monroe County Executive Adam Bello. “Law enforcement, fire, EMS, healthcare workers, teachers, restaurant, service and non-profit agency employees, all interact daily with the public — these masks will help keep them on the job serving their clients and customers. Remember, Vax-Boost-Mask will keep Monroe open. Thank you to Governor Hochul for making these masks available to us.”
