Senior Meter Reader
Description of Duties
This is a supervisory position in the Monroe County Water Authority involving instruction, assignment and supervision of all work pertaining to meter reading operations. Employees of this class work under the general direction of the Supervisor of Meter Services. Direct supervision is exercised over utility workers.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the non-competitive class at the Monroe County Water Authority and must have served continuously for twenty-four (24) months holding the position of Skilled Laborer or Utility Worker immediately preceding the date of the written test. Provisional time served immediately before a permanent appointment to the same title(s) will be credited.
A combination of time served in multiple titles sufficient to meet the maximum period of required service is also qualifying
