Household Appliances

Recycling options for appliances differ depending on whether or not they contain refrigerant, which must be removed by a certified professional prior to recycling. Refrigerant removal generally has an associated fee.

City of Rochester Residents can place appliances at the curb for regular refuse pick-up. Call 311 for details.

Accepted at ecopark During All Operating Hours

Please note that the recycling stations at the ecopark are self-serve (with the exception of Household Hazardous Waste). Residents should be prepared to unload their own items.
