Monroe County Executive Adam Bello and the Seneca Park Zoo have announced that live feeds of animal habitats will be provided to Good Morning America for their broadcast use. Good Morning America will have access to live feeds of Anoki the Polar Bear and the otters Gary, Ashkii and Sailor habitat during their 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. broadcast on April 8.

“Seneca Park Zoo is a local gem that is always looking for new ways to educate the community about the animals that call the zoo home,” said County Executive Adam Bello. “It will be great national platform to show off the Zoo while also learning more about animal behavior during a total solar eclipse.”

“Seneca Park Zoo’s animal cams will provide a real-time view of the eclipse live from our Zoo. We are thrilled to provide our digital content to national news outlets like Good Morning America and to the public.” – Beth LaPierre, Director of Marketing.

Seneca Park Zoo is one of a handful of zoos across the country that will be in the path of totality on Monday, April 8. The live feeds are available for anyone to view at the Monroe County Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@MonroeCounty_NY

Internationally, and in our own backyard, Seneca Park Zoo plays a key role in species survival. Chartered as an educational institution in 1957 by New York State, the Seneca Park Zoo Society plays an integral role in supporting Monroe County, the owners and operators of the Zoo. Together, we are working to bring animals back from the brink of extinction.
