Description of Duties
This is a senior-level legal secretarial position responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support, performing and overseeing the more complex legal secretarial tasks in a public law office and maintaining the efficiency of all office procedures and case management, guaranteeing reliability and consistency. Duties involve overseeing all cases heard, and reviewing all cases prepared by legal secretaries in a particular area to ensure paperwork is formatted and prepared correctly and conforms to the rules, guidelines, and standards for filing with the Courts. Duties also involve creating and proofreading legal documents, scheduling court depositions, hearings, and meetings, as well as filing and organizing critical documents.
