Sign Fabrication Assistant

Description of Duties

This is an entry-level position in the Department of Transportation responsible for assisting in the lay-out, design, and production of various signs. Work is conducted in accordance with New York State regulations regarding traffic control devices.  The employee reports directly to and works under the general supervision of the Sign Fabrication Supervisor or other higher-lever staff member.  Does related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma.
